Medical and Dental
Our medical provider, Physicians Plus, provides complete, nationwide, and comprehensive coverage for employees, spouses or partners, and dependents. Flexion offers you two choices in health care insurance; a standard PPO plan and an indemnity plan. Flexion covers a portion of the premiums costs. Our dental coverage is provided by Delta Dental, which covers semi-annual check-ups at 100 percent. Flexion also offers an enhanced dental plan, at a minimal cost to employees, that provides higher levels of orthodontia coverage for dependents. Flexion offers a vision discount plan for regular, full-time employees of Flexion. The program allows members to purchase eyewear at participating providers and receive a 10 to 50 percent discount.

Savings and Retirement Plans
Flexion offers a tax qualified 401(k) plan for pre-tax contributions. Employees are eligible to participate in the 401(k) plan the first of the month, at least 30 following their date of hire.
Rest and Relaxation
Flexion offers an ATO (accrued time off) plan, in which several types of time off (vacation, floating holidays and sick time) are combined into one pool and employees may use this accrued time however they choose. ATO covers all Vacation, sick time, personal days, holidays during a calendar year for Flexion employees. We believe this approach allows for maximum fairness and flexibility for employees to utilize their ATO as they see fit.
- 16 hours of ATO accrued per month for new hires
- 20 hours of ATO accrued per month after 3 years of service.
- 24 hours of ATO accrued per month after 7 years of service.
Flexion offers employees a company-paid group term life and AD&D insurance policy in the amount of $50,000. Additional coverage for spouses and dependents is also available.
Healthcare and Dependant Care Account Programs
Flexion offers a pre-tax program designed to save employees money. Employees may set aside money through payroll deduction in pre-tax funds for healthcare and dependent care expenses each calendar year.
Employee Assistance Program
This ongoing confidential resource is available to all employees and their families through a toll-free telephone number. This program offers counseling via telephone and referrals to in-network providers, in addition to child care, elder care and legal service referrals.
Employee Referral Program
Flexion believes in growing a community of smart, like minded professionals. To help facilitate this goal we pay a referral bonus of $1000 to any employee that provides us with a friend or past colleague that helps build this community and decides to become part of the Flexion team. $500 is payable on the start of a new colleague and an additional $500 payment to the referring employee is made upon 90 days of successful service of the new candidate.
