The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) is establishing the Quality Payment Program (QPP) as part of the “Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act of 2015” (MACRA), which reforms Medicare payment policy for physician services and adopts a series of policy changes affecting a wide range of clinicians and suppliers.
QPP consolidates several existing reporting programs, some of which had their own unique data submission standards. CMS is moving to a simplified data standard for submitting data, the ‘QPP standard’, that will accept submissions from providers. The QPP Conversion Tools task order seeks to build a converter that converts data from existing formats to the new, simplified standard.
Flexion was awarded this task order under the CMS Agile Delivery for Executive Legislative Endeavors – Quality Related Initiatives (ADELE-QRI) Blanket Purchase Agreement. Under this agreement, Flexion provides agile software delivery, IT management and governance, business process analysis, user-centered design, design thinking and DevOps.
